Yessssss another MMORPG is on the way to VR (or VRMMORPG which sorta sounds like the noise an Orc makes in Lord of the Rings but whatevs).

Kickstarted way back in 2020 and developed by Team 21 Studio, Ilysia is said to be inspired by the old-school MMORPG era and built from the ground up specifically for VR. Team 21 Studio promises an expansive open world where players can explore hidden ruins and dungeons, seek out lost treasure, climb and fight massive titans, quest alone or alongside friends, and hone skills in numerous professions.

Though there is no release date set yet, Early Access has dropped for those that want a sneak peak. Watch the Early Access Trailer below.

Team 21 Studio says they have been working hard to address feedback from the community, including hundreds of bug fixes and changes from the two earlier public betas.
